Shatta Wale Explains His Actions In The Showbiz Industry

Shatta Wale, the CEO of Shatta Movement has been known for many things in the music and showbiz industry apart from being a Dancehall Artist.

Shatta is known for many things including fighting and insulting other Artists. Many also despise him for fighting with Samini and Stonebwoy. Recently he started a fight with Sarkodie.

In an interview on the United Showbiz Show with Nana Ama Mcbrown, Shatta Wale made it clear his reasons for doing the thing he does. He said that everything is business to him. From fighting to making annoying videos on social media is a means of selling his brand to his fans. He has been doing all that to get people reading about him and trying to listen to the songs he releases. He also made it clear that he loves God dearly and it is Him who keeps him (Shatta Wale) going.

Nana Ama Mcbrown also asked him why he doesn’t work with female artist or sing with them. He said that most female artist in Ghana are not serious, also the way they sing doesn’t fit in his way of singing. He wants it faster and hot, and they may slow things for him. Also, in case he records a song with a ; female artist; shooting a video becomes a problem. Because he (Shatta Wale) will not love to fake the scenes. If everything has to be done, it must be done well. He will love to touch some sensitive parts that maybe the female artist will not like. Even he made it clear that he has already recorded a song with Wendy Shaw and few others which have still not been released yet because of these issues.

Shatta in a way denied taking Joint 77’s car from him, but later explained why that car was taken. He made it clear that he bought the car for his militant as a motivation to be able to release hit songs in Ghana, but since they couldn’t leave up to expectation, then he had no choice than to take his assets from them. And Joint 77 was no different from the rest.

In Ghana’s Music industry, the three “S” (Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy) have been very relevant since they were discovered as musicians. For almost seven years in the industry, they have released many hit songs that has raised the image of Ghana Music across the globe.

Shatta Wale also made it known that he will like to work with a female artist in the future and any female artist interested in working with him can contact him. He also said that most Ghanaian musicians are broke and they need the help from government.
