25 Year-Old Man Stabbed To Death During Fight Over Woman

A 25 year-old man has been stabbed to death at Sawua during a fight over a woman. The deceased was seen by John Asiedu the ex-boyfriend of Ama Amponsah that his ex-girlfriend was happily eating with her at a chop bar near Sawua Junction. The sight of it caused a raging fire in him as he furious attacked Appiah Samuel (deceased).  Reports suggest that, Appiah Samuel tried to explain to John Asiedu of his relationship to Ama Amponsah. But John Asiedu being jealous did not listen. Appiah took to his heels as John pursued without hesitation. Appiah fell at a road construction site. That was where, John Asiedu had the chance stab him. He pulled a small knife from his pocket and stabbed Appiah Samuel (deceased) several times in his stomach and neck. The body was carried and deposited at the Kumasi South Hospital Morgue. The incident was reported to the Asokwa Divisional Police Headquarters. On 31 st May 2020, President Nana Akuffo Addo lifted the ban on social gatherings with few measures. He asked churches to re-open and conduct their usual services that they did in the past until covid-19 brought a stop to all of it. But in his speech, he made it clear that services should be done within an hour with a maximum congregation of 100. On 7 th June 2020, churches resumed service for the first time in a long time. Some churches had three to four services, others too had only one service. Some churches with huge number of members still have their churches closed down until President gives them full control of their services. On 14 th June 2020, about nine (9) churches within the communities of Ramseyer, Nahinso, Sawua and Aputuogya in Ashanti Region, Kumasi didn’t follow President’s order. A trotro mate in Kumasi known as Lumba in the grip of the police for attempting to electrocute his 18-year-old student girlfriend by plugging a naked wire into her v@gina at Krofrom. Theresa Oppong, the lady who is a student of Serwaa Nyarko Senior High School also in Kumasi sustained severe injuries. She was also beaten to pulp by the boyfriend after she began to resist following a bleeding episode from her v@gia. Theresa is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.  Narrating the incident, Theresa said she went to her boyfriend’s house to retrieve an amount of ¢200 he owed her.
